Pre-press Intaglio Field Engineer
The Pre-press Intaglio Field Engineer provides hands-on technical support and process expertise for Intaglio Pre-press technologies, including Galvano systems, CTiP, and related processes. The role supports FIT/FAT activities, system installations and upgrades, on-site technical interventions, troubleshooting, and process optimisation. It also includes continuous process improvement, close collaboration with suppliers to enhance existing technologies, and active cooperation with the Pre-press Product Management team and the Innovation department. The Field Engineer contributes to technical training, documentation, and structured knowledge transfer activities.
Stellenbeschreibung
- support FIT/FAT (Factory and Final Acceptance Testing) activities for Galvano and CTiP systems;
- assist with installation, upgrade, and validation of Galvano systems and related Intaglio Pre-press processes;
- support technical tasks or processes for PVD-related activities in coordination with internal teams and technology partners;
- perform process troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and optimisation of Intaglio Pre-press workflows;
- conduct periodic process health checks to ensure stability, repeatability, and operational efficiency, and execute on-site technical interventions and field engineering activities;
- drive continuous process improvement, including collaboration with suppliers to enhance existing technologies in an active cooperation with the Pre-press Product Management team and the Innovation department;
- deliver technical training to Pre-press instructors and internal teams, including hands-on and theoretical sessions;
- prepare & maintain technical documentation, procedures, and guidelines, and actively participate in knowledge transfer with senior experts, Product Management, and the Innovation department;
- business travels around 40%.
Erwartetes Profil
- Master or bachelor degree in Engineering, Technology or comparable education and experience in the Industry of special machinery or processes.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment
- English C1, German and/or French is an asset
- Google workspace, SAP
- Professional Ethics, communication, flexibility/adaptability
