Our client is a well-established international company serving industrial customers across Switzerland. To strengthen its commercial team, we are seeking a technically minded and customer-oriented professional to manage and develop business activities throughout the French-speaking region of Switzerland.
In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive support of French-speaking customers within the General Industry & Specialty Products business segment.
You will primarily work from customer sites and your home office, while maintaining regular presence at the company's Swiss headquarters.

Description du poste

  • Provide professional, service-oriented support to customers within your assigned territory and coordinate with relevant suppliers when required.
  • Develop business opportunities within existing markets and actively acquire new customers in line with the company's growth strategy.
  • Identify market trends and derive appropriate commercial and technical actions.
  • Recognize innovation and optimization potential related to products, applications, and processes.
  • Plan, organize, develop, and deliver customer training programs.
  • Ensure effective and efficient complaint and claims management.
  • Prepare customer reports and support CRM/database maintenance activities.
  • Handle various administrative tasks, including the preparation of statistics, analyses, and management reports.

Profil attendu

  • Completed technical training, ideally within the paint, coatings, or industrial finishing sector
  • Commercial/business education with a strong technical affinity and several years of experience in a similar customer-facing technical sales role.
  • Sound knowledge of liquid coating products and industry-specific paint/coating systems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, combined with a proactive sales mindset.
  • Flexible, innovative, and continuously driven to improve products, processes, and customer solutions.
  • Persistent, open-minded, and motivated to identify and implement optimization opportunities.
  • Team-oriented with a constructive feedback culture, strong commitment, loyalty, and reliability.
  • Results-driven with a hands-on attitude and a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Fluent French and very good German language skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
  • Good English skills are highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; SAP user experience is considered an advantage.
