For our client in Zurich we are looking for a temporary (6 months) support as
Project Planning Engineer – Data Center
Job description
- Create and manage comprehensive timelines for Data Center construction initiatives
- Align and consolidate scheduling inputs from subcontractors and vendors to ensure cohesive planning
- Continuously assess project performance against established milestones and adjust as needed
- Facilitate on-site planning sessions with subcontractors, including Pull Planning and 3-Week Lookahead meetings
- Deliver consistent updates to clients, highlighting progress, identifying potential risks, and outlining mitigation strategies
Expected profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrated expertise in construction scheduling and project oversight, preferably within Data Center environments
- Skilled in using project planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (preferred)
- Solid grasp of construction codes, compliance requirements, and safety protocols
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in key IT tools including Excel, Word, MS Project, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Data Center delivery processes, including building services and commissioning, is an asset
